Discuss your project

Preparation and brief

Contact us through our website or by email at info@dmorrisdesign.com. One of the team will be in touch to discuss your project and gather more information. We will send you a fixed fee, no obligation quote. If you are happy to proceed, we will start work as soon as we receive the deposit payment.

Concept design

We can visit your property and carry out a full measured survey of your existing property. From this, we will develop different layout options and consider any exterior design elements relevant to your project. A 3D model can also be produced to help communicate our design and get instant feedback. We will discuss the different options with you and ensure we have addressed all your needs.

Developed design and planning applications

Once you are happy with the final design, we will prepare all the drawings and documents needed for the planning application submission to the local planning authority (if required). We will also create a basic 3D model of the affected space/s so you can visualise your design before it is built.

Technical design

We can prepare all the detailed construction drawings and documents required for you to obtain accurate quotes and discuss the proposed works with tradespersons. You may need input from a structural engineer, which we can organise on your behalf. We can also produce the building control drawings needed for approval.
