We worked along side one of the UK’s leading design and build companies to provide the concept design and visuals for a new pub garden proposal. It was crucial to develop a really usable and inviting layout which incorporated specific features and ideas for all age groups. The visuals needed to be high quality and exciting to get their clients on board, and speed of turnaround was critical to the success of their project.

This neglected walled garden space with massive potential needed careful consideration to make sure every part of the space was inviting and well utilised. The client wanted to maximise covers during busy summer months and provide a colourful and fun space for families, with more relaxed seating spaces for larger groups.

We wanted to inject some vibrancy and excitement by adding an al fresco cocktail hut, fire-pits and rustic palette seating along with pops of colour added to their existing pub benches. New rustic timber booth seating with up-lighters and planters were used to break up the large walled areas and soften the harder existing landscaping. The children’s play area and tree house are within viewing distance from all areas of the garden, making it an ideal space for families.
