D.Morris Design worked with Luxury Watch Repairs, a well established company based in Hatton Garden. They were looking to expand their existing online presence on to the high street.
Their first opening is a concession space in Harvey Nichols, Manchester. It serves as both a repair hub and a point of sale for second hand watches. We created an instantly recognisable and high-end brand identity through bespoke fixture and furniture design.
Tactile materials and finishes were carefully selected to reflect the luxury finishes and detailed craftsmanship of the services offered by Luxury Watch Repairs. The till and repair booth area are clad using Charred Accoya Cladding, which has a beautiful blistered finish mimicking high quality soft leather. We also used brushed Aluminium strips to edge the cladding, making the fixtures feel high quality and improving their robustness.
The space is lit using a combination of spot lights, pendant lights, and under counter LED strip lighting. Consequently, they create visual interest by having lighting at different heights, levels, brightness and warmth. A small table and some stools offers an area for customers to have a one-to-one conversation with staff. As a result, customers have a personal and unique experience, helping to increase customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
